In Cherished, Evan and Matt have to deal with Miranda’s continued belligerence and her emotional turmoil over her mothers death. Her sadness manifests as anger towards Matt and a bit of manipulation to cause strife among the family
Evan struggles with trying to keep his anger in check a nd Matt continues to try and play peacemaker. Miranda’s anger is wreaking havok on the other kids in the family as well and no one is happy about the situation. I liked that Evan stood his ground and refused to choose between his daughter and the love of his life. After his wishy washy behavior in the last book, it was nice to see him firm about what he wants in life
True chaos ensues when Miranda brings home her boyfriend, a rather nice and slightly clueless guy who really likes her. Her mind games cause a lot of emotional upheaval but after a lot of yelling and crying and apologizing, it seems like things will go a little smoother in the future. I think Miranda turned into quite the brat but it was good to see her grow up a bit in this book.
This book was rife with drama and emotional upheaval but it was a logical continuation of the story set forth in the first three books. You will spend most of this book disliking Miranda, feeling horrible for Matt and Evan, and just looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner being over!

Where Cherished was all about the drama and angst, Blessed is all about happily ever after. I think I literally smiled through the entire story. I was thrilled to get a peak at all the major players and how their lives are settling down.
Daisy and Bennett have a new baby and invite all their friends to the Hamptons for the christening. Lots of merriment ensues amongst the giddy adults but they all take a few moments to reflect on their relationships. Questions arise for Matt and Evan about what the future holds. Jim and Griffin realize that they really need a heart to heart to figure out the next phase of their relationship.
There is a bit of angst in this book, but there is also soul searching, introspection, and a lot of love. In the end, there are still a few obstacles to overcome, which will be touched on in the next book. I will say that with so many characters to touch base with, you really didn’t delve too deeply into any of them. But, it was an enjoyable look at where all my favorite characters have ended up so far. You switch POV throughout the whole book which some people might find difficult to follow but I think it really helped you get into each characters’ head space. The ending is a cliff hanger, but don’t worry…Truth & Tenderness is already out so you can keep reading to find out more!

Hope that Tere Michaels will continue this series forever. I love these characters.
What a great way to catch up on Matt and Evan and their family joined by the others, a short gem and not with any cliff hanger but feels as a lead up to the next book. I cannot wait. This author is brilliant and I hope for many more stories.
Finished all 5 books and really loved reading all of it. I love Evan and Matt when the series started. Of course Jim and Griffin!!! The supporting characters were so funny as well...
I hope this isn't the last one in the series.

I love this series, but oh no, no, no Tere left me hanging - LOL! She's killing me. I need to know, now. Love Matt and Evan. Love Jim and Griffin. I loved how this story was about these 2 couples, no kids, friends were on the outside, pushing, pulling, dancing around and having grown up issues. Evan made me giggle. I need a Matt in my life. Jim, steady and strong. Griffin, just what Jim needs. If you haven't read book 1 you are so missing out . Start there. You won't be disappointed!
I can't say enough about how much I love this series. The dynamic between Matt and Evan, the struggle Evan still has sometimes, the struggle his oldest daughter Miranda has - Tere Michaels has written it so that it just feels so damn real and true. And I love Jim and Griffin and their relationship too. I dove into the first book only a week ago and thank goodness I have all the books in the series because I won't be coming up for air until I'm done.

It has been years since the last time I read something involving Matt and Evan. Faith and Fidelity was the first M/M book I ever read, and I love these two. I LOVE THEM!
So I start reading Blessed, and I already have lots of feeling of longing, and excitement, and then Matt starts “talking” and I just want to cry and I feel alive and renewed and in love with Matt and Evan all over again.
Well. Blessed happens right after Cherish which I had previously read. Our boys are still going strong. I love the bantering, the bribery that goes on between Matt, Evan and the kids, the sex (holy cow) and every single word out Matt’s mouth.
The book is kind of split up into 2 different stories that kind of intertwine. The second story is Griffin and Jim, whom I never felt a connection with, and I still don’t even feel the connection between them two. And then Daisy whom I hate with all my being for being such a spoiled brat, makes an appearance and I just want to barf. But whatever, I’m here for Evan and Matt.
I was devastated when I realized I had finished reading, and the thing is I just can’t get enough of Matt and Evan. Their story is epic and magical.
